Thanks,

I see that translation software still leaves a lot to be desired, but it's close enough to get the general gist of the article.

There are so many interesting details:
Egli Vincent frame
Interesting new subframe to support that motor
Pipes - different to say the least
Tank and seat are wonderfully integrated
Fairing also works well with the tank/seat combo in terms of flow of lines.

Thanks for that link.

Wonderful work, but intrigued by the guitar amp and two chainsaws beside it?

.. and the Hammond and drum kit. Suggests a band of some sort for entertainment. Chainsaws? maybe they like the sound and weave it into their music.

I have seen angle grinders used in a punk band with sparks all over the stage, so why not a chainsaw?

I stopped watching before the end, so I had to go back and listen to it all the way through. Those pipes can't be that quiet. I wonder if the mic setting was turned down. And what was all that throttle twisting - maybe the throttle twister has watched too many Bosozoku engine revving videos on U tube.

Tz,

Look at the pic on the other web site... those outlets are tiny. And, in the first video you can see him move the mic to exhaust straight away... Audio turned down... volume on mic??... maybe, but that would be a first anyone turns down sound that much... All my Jemco's for example are louder when you hold a toy mic at my neighbors down the block :P .

I have been briefly experimenting with smaller and larger outlet sizes. Smaller perf pipe much quieter, but there is point it hurts upper RPMs. I think the rule of thumb is a third of pipe dia. at exhaust port ... that is loud ... unless real long silencers I suppose /silly looking at best.

Also a larger diameter muffler makes for a quiter exhaust.
