Finally had a weekend to get to the track. The bad: IT IS SLOW. The good: 7 passes, runs, starts, shifts, hole shots decent, gets out of the gate well. It won't rev past about 5850rpm! I was actually pretty close with jetting, made slight changes (main jet and power jet)every pass with little improvement. With no effort to kill the tree, I think I holeshotted 5 times out of seven. Typically see the fast stuff during 3rd gear. A stock Titan is probably faster. 14.3/14.5 at a wopping 83 mph. Not sure if I will run it again tomorrow or run my Blaster bike.

New day today. Thought about things over a couple beers last night. I put the largest power jet I have (120) in before I made a single pass first thing this morning. Bingo. Picked up 5 mph at the 1/8 mile and almost 10 at the 1/4. 1.75/1.78 60'. 6 passes total. Won first round eliminations (Sportster with slick and bar) and lost second round against a Vrod with a very good jockey.Lots of tyre kickers checking the old jalopy out all weekend. Oh, I ended up with a bunch of 13.59/13.68 range.

I already have an email to them. I have run many sets of Jemco's over the last 30 years. Jon's pipes work very well. Funny, I had a CR500 dragbike several years back with a Jemco. I raced all day long and then trailered home late that night. When I parked my trailer I noticed the entire integral silencer was completely missing! He replaced the back section with a new cone and stinger then.

What's the chances of you coming up to Michigan for the Amsnow shootout @US131msp September 23-25 ? We should have 18-20 2 stroke bikes. It's a bracket race, with Asphalt sleds and dragbikes

I ran the Twingle in a bracket race yesterday. Still slow, as I did not change anything since first outing, crap air,and a 15 mph headwind. But, this bike was very consistent all day long, 6 passes over an 8 hour period.Ran the same et's and mph at every point on the track. (More consistent than the rider) I had the stripe covered in round 2 of eliminations against a ZX10, but rolled out just a wisker too much and he took it.

I don't know much about drag racing (actually nothing) but would it make any difference to to your times running different final drive gearing. Just a thought.
