My introduction here:You and your bike - Building something a bit different. Will run total loss ignition with points driven directly off the end of crank triggering my homebuilt points booster ignition box and Pertronix epoxy coils[dual firing].Cylinders are ported,CCI eliminated and oiling mods taken care of.I had a TM41mm ProSeries carb on the shelf,so using that up also.[1 into 2 intake manifold] I purchased an almost free Arctic Cat 500 pipe and will run a 2 into 1 exhaust. Finally found a chassis and work is under way with freshening everything up a bit. I'll have to figure out posting pictures here . :(

+1 on looking forward to seeing your pics.

You can’t upload images to the forum because of server space limits.
To post pics, you need to upload them to an image hosting website like PhotoBucket and then use image links in your posts here.

Great day of wrenching. Motor is in, triples trees in,swingarm in. Sub assembled forks and rear brake, prepped ignition components. Waiting on fork seals and wheel bearings/seals. New PBI 520 alloy rear sprocket bolted up. I swear that is a couple pounds lighter than the 530 steel I replaced. I have never been on a forum/ message board were pictures are so painful to post. Just keeping that real!

I got a few more items taken care of: caliper rebuilt, battery box made and installed, seat pan design figured out and started fabricating it, finished up exhaust but may need to add a hanger for the silencer, forks installed, ignition components partially installed. And still a long ways to go,but progress none the less. I have aquired a GS rotor which is about 1.5 lbs lighter then my drilled stock disc. It may not be enough diameter to use. I'll look into that tomorrow.

GS rotor is on and oh so much lighter. Pipe is hung. Anybody care to volunteer posting a couple pictures for me? I am getting really anxious to get some fresh Avons and IRC tubes mounted up.Paying college tuition has been a bugger!

Lots of good work there, but I'm not convinced it'll go round a right hand bend with the exhaust where it is!

Most return roads are on the left! I am even more concerned about loading/unloading on the trailer. I'll know a lot more with tires mounted and the bike on the concrete. This is definitely not a roadracer.........Thanks to Suzukidave for posting pictures.
