New shocks + test fit of rearsets:
Rearset adapters worked out nicely.

Test fit of rearset on other side. Adapter worked out nicely. (The left & right adapters are different.)
The shift linkage rod is for a T500 motor & will need shortening.
Will need the kickstart lever mod.

Looking good!
That GT250 is going to be a head turner when done. Thanks for posting pics!

Looking really good!
Now you just need to find a T350 top end to bolt down on to the bottom end like this....
If you want more details go to the Smokin Blue link on

Nice bike!
I have 3 T350s, so I understand the surprising performance gain from the modest displacement increase (247 to 315cc).
We are building 2 cafe racers. I thought about a T350 top end. But as these are our firsts builds, so I'm trying not to do too much.

Right-side T500 rearset worked out nicely. Will deal with the rod length after we have the seat on.

Right side looks good with rod adjusted & brake cable installed.
Left side will work out too. I modified the shifter shaft adapter — still needs a bit more work. Looks like the rod will need shortened a bit.
