Dave, I am not so good with wiring so when I saw your pic, I about fell over.
But if anyone can make that into a harness, its you and Ryan. I only have 3 wires and still have to mark them with tape.
I couldnt put my finger on it before but its the pipes that give the bike such nice lines. Its clean and balanced with the frame lines above the motor. You've really done a nice job...
Dave, are the wires in the SRAD harness usable or are they all super light gauge like the K2 I started with?
When I started teh wiring on the Phat Trakka I found it hard to believe how much thinner the wires are in a modern harness compared to the old GT and most of it comes down to design.
For example I used a pair of modern relays in the headlight circuits and that meant that teh wires from the switch to the relays could be really thin as they carry so little power. The only thick wires are power and ground.
of course I used an older generation left switch so I didn't gain all the benefits of that new technology, but I have to stop somewhere - sometimes

I would like to say i planned the pipes that way so they looked nice but its just another example of form follows function as they had to be tucked in close like that so the front wheel wouldnt contact them .
With so many variables, ETA is as soon as it's done.
Projects tend to take on a life of their own unless there's a deadline. How about you finish it and get the FI dialed in before the holidays, spend spring making it pretty and we'll see you at Daytona the first week of March.
