Re: My Custom GT750's
Here are the pages out of the GT750 manual showing how the stock oil injection and recycle system works http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_G ... /sr43.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . all the crank bearings are pressure feed full strength oil and then there is also a spray of pure oil sprayed onto the thrust surface of the piston in the intake tract . The amount of oil being feed to the engine is controlled by both the engine speed ( as it drives the pump ) and how much the throttle is twisted as the volume from the pump is also controlled by that .

Re: My Custom GT750's
Thanks- that explains everything. So EFI in two stroke would still have some issues in F/A ratio if you were reading sensors at the exhaust?

Re: My Custom GT750's
My Son ( Ryan ) is going to be my master mixer and he feels getting the engine to start shouldnt be too much of a problem .. but .. the map setup for the other 100's of throttle , rpm just may be a challenge .

Can't wait to hear more- I will be very, very interested in buying a "bolt on and play" system from you if you can get it to work!

Re: My Custom GT750's
I have done two megasquirt projects- both cars. Both painfully easy because of application, One was converting a 2 barrel 318 Ramcharger to EFI. the other was changing the brain box on the EFI from a GPZ 1100 over to MS.
Nothing this complicated!

Re: My Custom GT750's
Reading EGT is OK but O2 sensors don't last long with oil and there's not a lot of need to get lambda=1 on a bike, or more specifically a hi-po 2 stroke.
At steady state you will want to go to a slightly richer than full power setting at all throttle settings and particularly at part throttle cruise conditions where it's very easy to do a passable impersonation of Chernobyl.
