Is there a supplier for oem type chrome rims to fit the '75 GT750. I need to respoke it and it would be nice to replace the rims at the same time.
Thanks
Mark

 Hi,still available from your friendly Suzuki dealer, last time I bought a rear rim a year ago,the retail price was around $230 Aussie Dollars !!! then the cost of stainless steel spokes on top of that!!
Who said restorations are cheap !!!!
Cheers,
Roger

I don't recall anyone ever saying restorations are cheap.

It is more like:
How do you make a small fortune in the restoration business?
Start with a large fortune.

Nice, but expensive. I'm not doing a restoration but wanted to maybe improve what I have which isn't all that bad, probably a little better than average for the age.
If I go down that road with a new part, you know what happens next; more new parts and pretty soon the bike is disassembled and scattered all over the garage.
Since oem spokes and stainless cost about the same, is there any preference one over the other?

 Hi,stainless look lovely, are easy to keep clean,I have broken a couple of spokes in the past in the rear wheel of my GT750....I don't know the differences in tensile strength,if any, between the two :?:
