We bought this bike around 1978 with 131 miles on it. We bought a 1971 TS90 at the same time that had 9 miles on it. Sold the TS90 after I put 5000 miles on it, but I still have the T250. It needs a rectifier (I think) which is why I joined here.

Here's a pic of the T250 as it looks today.

Cool looking bike, in awesome shape, too. I checked on MotoSport (they can get a lot of older parts), but they don't have the rectifier. If your bike is a TS250, then the PN is 32800-16421. Try calling some Suzuki dealers, ask if they have it - most won't, but then ask them to check on their locator (most are on a system called LightSpeed) to see what other dealers have it. You'd be surprised how many parts I've found this way for my '70 T350. Then just have them ship it to you! Good luck!

Thanks...good to know.

I figured out that the rectifier we have in there now came from Radio Shack and I can get a replacement for under $10 if it turns out that this one is bad.

That is a great little scrambler, I'd love to get one of those for my next project. It's cool that it's been with you for so long and you've obviously taken such good care of it!

Had I known we'd have it so long I would have taken better care of it! Kids and two strokes.... :)

I had one of those in 1971, in New Zealand. It was unusual, because it was a US market model. Great little bike - from behind, people used to think it was a Stinger....until I smoked them! Wish I had it now - it was a great bike!
