T500 - Gearbox Dam Retrofit - Glue and/or Sealant?
Is there are recommended glue or sealant that you should use to hold the rubber dam in place that you fit into the gearbox on a 72 Suzuki T500 when doing this modification?

I just did same mod and used the yamalube, my mechanic swears by it. Good luck and Ride Hard

Do you need to remove the complete kick start assy from the case to fit the rubber dam in place or can this be just pushed into place? If you have to remove the kick start assy, is this simple to refit and re tension the spring? Any tips would be appreciated.
