GT750B Carb rubber boot

Post by RING_DING »

One of my carb boots (between carb & airbox) is split. The other two are fine. Does anyone have a spare they'd be interested in selling? I can buy a new one for $28 but if I go that route it would make sense to replace all 3 but I'm trying to keep my costs in check!

I know its anoying to buy them when only one has quit but the other two cant be far behind.
and its a lot cheaper than a rebiuld which could be the result of an unnoticed air leak/lean condition.
think of it as insurance.
cheers mark.

Wise words indeed Mark! I don't want to be penny wise and pound foolish as they say where we come from!

not quite as wise as i thought i just reread the original post and see the leak is at the air box side so not so critical.
but i would still replace all three.
i am great at spending other peoples money.
i must be a liberal. :(
cheers mark
