She's beautiful! It truly is amazing how you guys bring life back to these old bikes. I swear I can see a smile and the glee on her "face". (Okay, so maybe I've watched "Cars" once to many times). :roll:

Thanks - I finished this in late October and shot most of the photos just before the snow settled in - still have to do a test drive, although it starts 'on the button' and sounds great ! My winter project is a 1977 GT500 - just starting to put the engine together now. We only have three seasons up here - July, August and Winter - so lots of time for projects :?

Many thanks Rick - more of a pragmatist than a perfectionist I think, but I am still learning and you have been a great help - appreciated ! :D

Its a water based paint like they all are now and I find that the colour seems to change a lot depending on the light, but it is a pretty good match for the original - I did the panel beating on the tank , bucket and ears. Can't talk about the price in case SWMBO'd happens to read this, other than to say the chrome cost more :shock: You can email me for details if you'd like 8)

have opened a Harley Davidson Dealership
