TWO 1968 SUZUKI T500 COBRA BARN FINDS - BOTH TO PAUL MILLER!

More to follow about this incredible find, but in a nutshell purchased from the original Michigan owner, with original title and 1968 dealership purchase paperwork (it was the floor model), original owner's manual, original tool kit, still has air pump, 16,000 original miles, not started since about 1985 but engine turns over, un-ripped original seat, did not come with blinkers / turn signal lamps, original aftermarket mirror (not a factory Suzuki Cobra mirror), and oh... plenty of rust! I actually passed on this after MUCH debate and pain - but I already have a restored Cobra. I then talked to a couple of other local northern virginia Suzuki enthusiasts, but they too passed for the usual reasons (too many bikes, too little space - too little time and cash!). BUT, rest assured, she's in good hands because I passed the ball and the reception was complete to an all-pro wide receiver who knows how to put ones like this in the end zone. Again, more details to follow in the coming weeks and months but here are the photos of a smokin' Cobra in the winter snow...

What makes this most interesting is that this bike is now with the T500 man himself, PAUL MILLER. And when he went to pick this bike up in Michigan, he picked up ANOTHER Cobra on the way back in Ohio. I put him on to that one too and here it is:

So, Paul Miller picked up TWO Cobras on the same trip. The Ohio one was in worse shape, but there were more parts not pictured (e.g., the rubber knee pads for the tank) AND he also bought a 1973 Titan and lots of parts from the same seller! More to follow for sure on these Cobras!
