My small Suzukies
Now it's probably time to add some pictures of my small Suzukies.
The first Suzuki I bought was this 67 K10. All original and had 2 previous owners before I won the bidding on eBay. The first owner was a older man in Wisconsin and the man I bought it from had it in a private collection. It's a great bike and it runs fine. Always starts on the second kick!
Here I just received it. Had to polish it!
Her it is Norway.
I also wanted a Bearcat. A friend of mine knew a guy that had a B105P project. Of course I had to buy it. It had a long seat and was missing the luggagerack. Luckily ebay had it
The seat I bought had a really bad cover so I had a new cover made locally.
I also bought a 70 AC100 and a 66 K11P from my friend. The AC100 was in pretty good shape.
Had to take a testdrive!
The paint wasn't good, so I had it repainted, original Mesa Orange (candy paint). I love the color, which is the same as my T305.
The 66 K11P is a project, which I haven't started on yet. The gastank on the picture is to new, so I bought an older one. I've also bought a correct headlight.
I found this 67 AS100 on craigslist. I had heard that the AS100 were pretty rare, so I had to buy it. They sold the A100 here in Norway, but it didn't have the high exhaust. The exhaust on the AS100 makes the bike alot cooler I think. The front fender was missing, the seat was crap and the engine wasn't running well. It needed new condencator.
This must be where it was sold new.
The paint is in pretty nice original shape. I repainted the rear fender since I bought a used front fender and had to repaint that.
Here my dad is in the background working on the lights on his 65 M12.
My dad bought his M12 new in 65. The M12s were the first Suzukies that were sold in Norway. The first load came in late 64 and half were sold in 64 and the rest in 65. My dads M12 was from this load of bikes.
This is the bike that I learned how to drive. It's still in original shape, but he had the front fender repainted once... Still a really cool bike!!!

Those were the bikes from the 60s that made Suzuki the company it is today, sadly you dont have an M30 which would complete the small sized class you have, however its looking great none the less.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

Fantastic collection, RJ....and very nice resto work, too. It's nice to see the tiddlers get the attention they deserve because, as Allan said, they were the humble machines that set Suzuki on the road to success.
I think that maybe even Heidi Cockerton in England might envy you your collection just a little bit....

Re: My small Suzukies
This summer I expanded the collection some.
First came a white K11. The bike was sitting new at dealer forever because the engine was removed. Another bike had a engine that blew up so this bikes engine was put in that one. I relly didn't belive this story intill I picked up the bike and saw that the original tires still had the knobs on them. It now has 2 miles on the odometer. The bike must have been stored in a kinda rough place because it has been repainted some years ago, but the paintjob isn't the best and the seat is shot.... The chrome is excellent. I got along a engine, but It will need some work.
It sure looks good in white.
I also found my K10s baby sister, a 67 M15-2 (50cc). All original with about 3500 miles on it. I will keep this unrestored.

Re: My small Suzukies
Nice, that M-15 looks pristine. You should make a YouTube video of your collection, with some engines running, etc.
You are in Norway? How are you getting bikes off ebay and Craigslist from Wisconsin and Illinois?

Re: My small Suzukies
The M15 is very nice. It's almost as nice as the K10 and they both are untuched originals.
I usually get my bikes from the ND and MN area. I've got a place in ND not to far from Fargo. I think I'll keep the K11 and the M15 there. The rest I have shipped to Norway in containers among other old cars.

Re: My small Suzukies
It's been pretty slow at the Suzuki side for awhile now. Most of my time has been fixing up the house and with a little boy in the house, my Suzukies has been left alone in the garage.
The white 67 K11 and the M15 just arrived. I did sell the white K11 and the blue 66 K11P project. Neede some money to put into my grandpas 69 Chevy Caprice I'm restoring. I finally did send the AC50R replica project to painting. I'm thinking it'll be a cool little bike.
Does anyone know anything about the AC50R? Where was it sold? The only thing I've found about it is a add at the suzukicycle website and there was a original brochure sold in Australia a few years ago. It was made in 71, came in either Candy Orange or Pop Green and looks like a mix between the AS50 and the AC50. AC50 bike with AS50 fueltank. Mine is being painted pretty close to Pop Green. I'm useing Kawasaki Lime Green since I couldn't find the Pop Green paint code. I'm also useing a AS50 seat, which I think looks awsome. The rear of the seat is being painted like the fueltank, green with black stripes.
My dad had a AS50 seat and I was lucky to find the fueltank on a old local motorcycleshop that had been shut down.
I've modified the AC50 frame seat bracket, so I can use the AS50 tank and the seat. I'm sure looking forward till it's painted. I'm gone for work and will be home in 2 weeks. Then It should be done painted and I'll post some fresh pictures.

Re: My small Suzukies
Very nice !
Just for info - while it won't help you get a match as there is no cross reference to any currently available paints, the Suzuki colour code for Pop Green was 186.

Re: My small Suzukies
Your "reproduction" AC50R will be quite unique. There were very few of those bikes sold back in the day. I doubt that there are more than a half dozen originals still existing today.....IF even that many.
It'll be great to see the finished product.

Re: My small Suzukies
Thanks for the number, but as you said, there isn't any cross reference to current colors. I think the Kawa color will work good.
Rick, Do you know where these bikes were sold?
It would have been fun to se pictures of an existing one. I've always loved the AC50R, since the first time I saw the ad. The reason I chose to have it PopGreen is because my AC100 and T305 is candy orange and the pop green makes it look alittle more wicked!
Thanks for all the response!

Here's a few more pictures of the AC50R project. Looks pretty sweet
It's a little darker green than on the pictures. Now I just have to start assembling.
Noone know where they were sold new?

Re: My small Suzukies
In the search for a AC/AS100 exhaust, I managed to buy an all original 1969 AC100. Why not have two :p So I'm still missing an exhaust.
After searching alot on the web I found some pictures of AC100 with RT kit or RT exhaust. I really like the looks, so I guess I'll be trying to find and RT exhaust or build an racing exhaust kinda like the RT myself.
If anyone has or can lead me in the wy of finding RT exhaust, I would much apreciate it.
Here's the new one
