Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hi, Hoping for some help / advise on re-chroming silencers . I can withdraw the rear baffles without problem, but internally at the front end of the silencer is a section with perforated cover, assume that this would need to be removed before chroming. How does this come out ?? tried searching on line but can't find anything relevant.
