Here it is, the first on-street pic of my finally finished 1968 T20. I've tried not to overdo it, so finish is with some patina left, like the bike would have been after some running.
The minute I got it fired up and snicked into gear, I had instant recognition from last run in 1984. And the horses are home and good to go. All internals new, so now needs running in and hence keeping it down for the next kms.
Some adjustments left, engine idles nicely, I really can only complain the piston rings are rattling a little when the engine is not pulling. I dont remember if that is normal.
Nah, cheers.
Rolf

Thank you
Theres a "flat" in the power curve around 4000, making sedate city driving possible and civilized but not fast.
Then, oh, when it hits around 5000. Magic begins, it gets noise and traffic is suddenly behind you.

Can confirm that!Rolf wrote: Theres a "flat" in the power curve around 4000, making sedate city driving possible and civilized but not fast.

Highway-driving at 100 kph in top gear is quite civilized (read: boring). Then you snick down into 4'th wind up the throttle and .... situation goes much more interesting, head wind gets demanding, noise is like .. oh well, you have other things to think about.
I still have too much rattle from the pistons and will pull the cylinders during the winter and see if things are as they should be.
