looks like my tank is ready..not bad at all...apparently the panels look great too..i asked for the emblems to be repainted as well...these were done by a steadier hand than mine..

I did say it already, but Daihatsu peacock blue matched the maui on my T500 perfectly.

Sorry about the late reply. Your tanks looks great. The color I was working with was wrong for you anyway as its for a 76 750A. I was looking to duplicate "Coronado Blue" I got the color name from a 1976 U.S. brochure. I went back to purchase the paint and tried a little harder to get a better match. I ended up with a Mitsubishi color "Kauai Blue". I probably wont shoot it until after the Barber meet. I'll post the photos and results after I do. Carl

I am happy to share that I have a perfect match for Coronado Blue used on my GT750A US model. The color is a 1995 Chrysler / Mitsubishi color code T83. PPG code 4844. It even has the same "flop". Flop is the term paint guys use to describe the slight shift in color when viewed at different angles. This color flops from Blue metallic to Teal/Blue metallic exactly like Suzuki's color. The bottom of the tank in the photo has a couple of passes only along the edges. It is impossible to discern where the new paint stops and the old blends in.
