1970 T500 MkIII gauges

Too much was done to list it all out here on this set of gauges, but after some major restoration work, the end results were worth it.

I'd love to see how it was done if you have a how-to or "build" pics. That kind of stuff really intrigues me.

Nice work indeed Allan. I have always thought those gauges were some of the best looking. Nice balance between the black, chrome and silver at the bottom. Mike

Mike just so you know theres actually three types of these gauges. One set like those shown in the photos, has a shorter black top and longer metallic silver base, while the other as a taller black section and shorter metallic silver base. The differences are so subtle, only about 3/8 of an inch in total gauge height. Then theres the third type with a full chrome base cup covering the metallic silver base section.
Each gauge type is unique and shares very little parts between them.
