T125 Stinger - now 4 years along...

Hey all,

Great to find this site again, I lost it for a while!

I thought i'd post a project ive had going for the last 4 years, 1969 T125-II. 8)

It was a very rough example when I got it unfortunately, lots of bad rust, broken bolts and thick grunge.
That's partially why its taken 4 years, that and..laziness.

In hindsight I should have found a better one to begin with, im happy with how its turned out though.

This week I started to put everything together. (some things just dummied up.. :wink: )

I'm waiting for pistons and a rebore at the moment, I also need to get engine covers blasted, seat re-made and a whole bunch of other small things.
At least I can see what I need now so hopefully ill be done soon. :D

The engine was bead blasted, yeah im really happy with the result.
Now for the covers!

Ah Mate, I am impressed with your confidence for tackling some of those bits. The results show what can be achieved with dedication and a few skills. Great job on a neat little bike.

The "after" pics are so much easier on the eyes. :wink:
That sucker was a mess. Congrats on getting it this far. She looks like a winner !!! :shock: :D

Haha I think it was more naivety than confidence when I began... :lol:

I'm still waiting to get the cylinders back at the moment, then I can try starting her up!
