Well another few months have past by & over the winter i have been busy sending parts away for rechoming. the bike was put into a vac bag with silca gel to protect in from the damp & cold winter we exprienced here in the uk.

Indoors I restored the wiring loom, striped & sonic cleaned the carbs & got them vapour blasted. so last Monday I got the bike out of hibernation & back onto the bike lift. I fitted the rear fender that i got from Suzsmokeyallan (thanks) it was only back from the chromers about 2 weeks, then i fitted the tail light bracket, chain guard, wiring loom, clutch cover head light & brake light etc. Here is a few more pics of my progress.

I measured the width & depth of the original trim & googled for suppliers. a car assessory store in the uk had the trim in the exact size as the original. I cant remember who they where but i could find out if you want?

I am looking for pictures of a t500 with the tank removed as i am try to see what way clutch, throttle & tach cables are routed, any info would be very helpful
