making progress

Post by djfisher22 »

spent the night putting this thing back together.Another few sessions and hopefully I'll be ridin this summer yet.Still looks like crap.I've got to put all the polished engine covers on and clean the heck out of it.Should look much better tomorrow night. It's after midnight and I just finished a little while ago.

you buggers just don't know lucky you are.
look at the size of that garage. wish mine was big as that.
if I had I wouldn't have sold my old T500.

If I wanted to make a life-long career out of

I bought it half disassembled with a locked up motor.I got a good(I'm told) replacement 72 motor with it and about half of the hardware I need.I'm just painting and polishing as I reassemble it.If I like it I'll tear it down this winter to do it 100%.For now I just want to put it on the road for some summer riding.

John,I just have an integral 2 car garage. It's half the first floor of the house under my bedroom and believe me,if I so much as open a paint can my wife is giving me hell. Nice to work in with heat and airconditioning, but don't spill oil or anything that doesn't smell like flowers or you hear about it. :D
