New rebuild '72 GT750J

Post by Freeion »

Hi all.

As the title suggests I'm here to explore and share GT750 info. I'm no expert, but I'm trying.

The most significant of the problems on this machine stems from an accident in the original owner's garage. He nailed it kinda hard with his truck. The tank is toast as is the left upper exhaust. I've found a used tank in very good condition. It's getting acid dipped this week.

Anyway, I've read some of the service bulletins and am wondering if anyone has experience with the crank seal fix on these early models?

I'm trying to figure out how to replace/repair the red film on my tank emblems. see pic.

Cheers!
