1969 T250

Hi all,

I just joined since I purchased my first vintage Suzuki last weekend. It's a 1969 T250.



I'm hoping that someone may be able to answer what may be a weird question. One of the parts missing from it is the shifter lever. My question is which is the correct lever? I've seen a couple of different styles (each has a different bend to it) and the different parts catalogs seem to have a different idea for what is supposed to be on the bike.

I'm also trying to figure out which fuel petcock this bike also uses.

Looks like your '69 T250 is a mix of the '68 T20 & '70 T250-II.

An original printed parts manual would be the best bet to find out what is correct.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure how I managed to miss the suzukicycles.org site but it did have some useful info.

I've already ordered the service manual but I didn't see the IPC that you listed.

I guess I'm just anxious to get it running and to see what else needs to be done to it this winter to get it back to original.

Would the IPC list the available colors for a model year? Or is there a site that might list that? I'd like to fine the correct paint code to repaint it in the same burnt orange.
