GT750 - BS40 Carb - Choke Body Gasket question

Can anyone confirm if this part for a BS38 carb will fit the BS40? (The pic is from MikesXS website)

Just by chance I happen to have a pair of BS38 carbs in the shop already stripped. They use the same 8 hole choke body gasket as the BS40.
