First of all, welcome to the forum. You are probably talking about the Tranny oil as there is no oil in the crankcase other than what is injected with the 2 stroke oil pump. B100P gear box takes 800cc of oil (0.7/0.9 qt US/IMP). Original manual calls for 20W40 for the gearbox, but it will be hard to find. 10W40 will work along with SAE80/90 Gear Oil. There are many discussions on this forum as to what is the correct oil. To me, it's personal preference, I use a SAE80/90 gear oil and it works fine for me. There is an overflow screw just to the right of the kick start lever, take it out and fill it with your choice of oil, wait until it overflows and you will have the right level of oil in the tranny.
