great links Johnakay. Sadly none do the rubber grommet surround for the trip meter knob on my GT380. But plenty of other useful bits to find on there. Thanks

Bar end mirrors are available on ebay. Rearsets, you'd have to make your own brackets or get universal ones and cobble them together to make fit.

The rubber around the trip meter knob was never available as a separate part.

Yes it was. Part number 34192-33600
But it is no longer available.
Another part I would like is the gasket that goes around the individual dials on a GT380 set of clocks.
Part number 34181-33600
But, guess what.... No longer available!

a lot of stuff on here, including repro carb rubbers [top and bottom] for the 380 and 550. i've had some and they don't turn to goo after a few months. also a lot cheaper than the genuine ones, which do turn to goo :D

Hmm. I'll have to get in touch with them. I fancy a set of carb rubbers if they are not too pricey.

Its worth remembering its important the carb rubbers have to be supple to flex and provide an airtight seal or air gets in and weakens the mixture. Also remember NOS means the rubber is probably 40 years old ! So modern repro as long as its quality made is better.

Are we talking about the same item? the trip knob rubber for the GT250 380 500 and 550 from 72 to 77 was never available as a separate part. Only the knob and screw was available.

Yes, we are talking about the same part. I have seen it in a parts diagram and checked the part number on robinsons foundry. I even saw it for sale a long time ago. I just wish I had bought one then while it was still available. :(

The oem parts diagrams don't even show it in the photo of the gauges. As a matter of fact I have never seen the trip knob boots available as a separate part for any of the GT gauges.

Component number 15, which is part number 34192-33600
I would also like 34181-33600 which is number 14 in the picture but that is not available too.

Lots of rubber parts.

wiseco.com will make any pistons so long as you order 12 of them

I make the rubber grommets used on the front of the gas tanks of the T20 and similar that are bolted to the frame and do not slide into the rubber buttons on the inside of the tank. They also work well for the back of the tank on the T305/TC305/T350/T500 where it bolts down to the frame.

Given a reasonable used part, I can replicate most plastic or rubber parts in polyurethane. I have done RE5 headlight buckets for Jess at Rotary Recycle.

I do swingarm bushings in Steel & Aluminum Bronze too.

For the T250/T305/TC305/T350/T500, the instrument bulb harnesses with the over-molded rubber plugs that hold them into the speedo and tach are no longer available. I make Delrin plugs that replace the rubber parts that crumble away. It is impractical to mold new ones onto the used harnesses, so this is a simple fix...just break off the dried out rubber, bead-blast the sockets for good electrical contact, and use the plastic plugs instead.
