You need to use an external server to post pics. There are plenty of free services out there. I use Photo Bucket. The upload limit on this forum has been full for more than 2 years. More space means more money. This is not a corporation and is handled (owned) by an individual. So learn to use an outside server. It ain't that tough.

I totally understand. Anyone know how to embed the pictures so the can be seen on the forum without clicking on them?
I have a google account and uploaded them there and can get a link, for example...
https://goo.gl/photos/EXXeDzn2KyTJKXhD7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Is it am HTML thing???

Thanks for the help I'm a little technologically deficient.

This is a screenshot of some photos hosted on Photobucket. Note under each pic there is a yellow box. Click that box and the line turns blue. then right click the line and select copy from the drop down menu OR just press Ctrl+C. It's the same thing
On the forum, right click anywhere in your post and select paste from the drop down menu OR just press Ctrl+V to paste. It's the same thing. That's basically all there is to it. When you submit your post the pic automatically shows.
I don't think it's an HTML thing. More likely a URL missing.
Don't know on google. Try copying the line google gives you, paste the line in your post, highlight the line and press the Image

Thanks Coyote!

I mocked up the frame braces with EMT before I go on to the "hero" pipe.
I bought a cheap-o-tube bender from harbor freight and slowly bent the tubes a 1/4 turn at a time.
Then I cut the long tube in half which made 2 curved tubes with the same bend.
Image

Then I found a really cool website for calculating the notches.
Basically you type in the diameter of both tubes with the angles and you can print out a template.
Then tape on, mark it with a china pencil and make the proper cuts.
It worked great! :up:
http://www.blocklayer.com/Pipe-Notching.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Cutting it out was a little tricky, the shape was oblong so a hole saw wouldn't work well.
I ended using angle grinder and dremel to clean it up.

Here is the frame mocked up with EMT, what do ya'll think?

Looks cool. I like the way it kind of flows with the back bone. What's EMT? Not everyone has a cable trolley in their workshop :)

Thanks coyote! EMT is just electrical conduit, what is a cable trolly? If a cable trolly = tube roller they
can be had a harbor freight for a little over a $100 when they are having a sale.
http://www.harborfreight.com/tubing-roller-99736.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A quick note for those that are interested in getting into rolling/bending , tube and pipe are different things
so do a little reading on the subject before jumping in. Tube measurements refer to outside diameter while
pipe refers to inside diameter. The die's for tube don't work on pipe and vise verse.

My next step will be to take the here tube and fill it with sand (helps keep away the flat spots), I'll
post some picks soon when I bend and notch them

Yeah. The first pic looks like a cable trolly
By the way, did the image tab work on your google pics or did you go with another service?

Hey Fellas been a while. So I put her together and rode her for a while, and the she sat... poor thing..
I can't get her to start at the moment so I decided to do some things I've been meaning to do. Step 1, clean up the brittle old wiring.
Here is a before, I'll post an after later.
Cheers

So after struggling for days and racking my brain to get my bike running again I FINALLY GOT HER PURRING YAY!!! I put new points, ultrasonic cleaned the carbs and dialed them in, I went through the wiring and tested everything electric on the bike, new plugs, caps and wires, new points (and gapped) and condensers. Here's the funny part, of course I put the damn carb slides in the wrong carbs, but when I reinstalled the coils I put them in backwards so when I got to timing the bike I noticed the COILS were going to the wrong cylinder!!! Haha just my luck, two 50/50 chances of getting something right that I got wrong.. Well lets just say that I'm not going to Vegas any time soon boys! I've got some free time so will be doing a big push on this bike and will post some pictures of the progress, it's starting to feel pretty exciting as the end is in site and my titan will be a sweet ride soon!
