Hi.
After two years of building my second gt750 out of 6 boxes it is nearly ready for the road.
I would like to know what type of chain do you use, i see the DID 530 is popular.
thanks.
Jim

Re: Gt 750 chain type
Jim,
Personally, I favour the heavy duty type, which is variously called 530NZxxx or DID50NZxxx, where xxx is the number of links, which of course may vary depending on what sprockets you have fitted.
The standard duty chains I find are pretty quickly finished off by the GT750, even if carefully adjusted and lubricated.
Others fit more modern chain types eg O-ring with success, but for myself I've struggled to get precise clearances to the chain guard and also chainguard to outer sprocket cover, so stuck with stock width chain. I don't do enough miles to struggle
Good luck whatever you choose,
Mike
