Help with my 1964 T-10 please!

I've been working on my T-10 now for a while, and I need help finding a couple of parts, or maybe even parts that would work on my bike. Take the rubber tubes that go from the air filters to the carbs, mine have disintegrated to the point of nothingness, but I am having mucho difficulty finding anything that would fit and work like they are supposed to. Any ideas? Also, if anyone is a 2 stroke expert, this is my first one out of 25 bikes...I know they have less parts then a 4 stroke, of course, but for some reason I can't get mine to start up. The starter and kick start work to turn the engine over, but that's all I get. I am in the middle of testing my coils (they are in the frame of the bike) because I know I have air, I think I have gas, but I don't get spark at the plugs. I have yet to put a light on it, only because my timing light thingy's bulb blew, and I am now waiting for a new one to get here.
Anyways, just looking for a little support!! Thanks you all, and here is a picture of my T-10 just so that you can see what I am working with. http://imgur.com/a/nzdV7#0
Cheers,
Rick

To you have part numbers for the tubes ? Failing that, if you have the ID and OD for both ends, perhaps give Tim a call as these look similar and perhaps can be cut down in length to fit if the ID is correct.

The online parts manuals generally don't go back to 1964.

You should consider getting parts & service manuals. Several are listed on eBay:

Thanks for the advice. I do have a parts manual and micro fiche with the parts numbers for the parts I need. I will post them here tomorrow as it's too late right now for me to dig them out. Failing that, I have pictures of the rubber tubes that perhaps we can get general dimensions from, so the link given will be extremely helpful. Thank you so much!
Cheers

These look just like the ones I need, except the straight part is just a bit too long. Cutting these down looks like a viable option. Thanks for the link!

I've visited Tim's shop near Baltimore and he has quite the set up. As I suggested - give him a call and check the measurements. It may not fit, but other small bore Honda's also used a similar design (twin filters with long, separate inlet tubes to the carburettors) so he may be able to offer a suggestion.

Another place you can check is CSM Restoration. Gregg offers reproduction rubber parts for quite a few models. Again, you may find something you can modify or even use as is. 8)

I just about yelled in joy at this page! Rubber goodness all over the place. Now I think I can find the grips, peg rubber et all where before this I thought I was doomed to do with what I had. Fantastic! Thanks for the help, guys (and gals?)!
Cheers

Another option is to try the UK or Europe for those elusive T10 parts. They may also have some leads as to where you can also check if they dont have the items. T10s were sold in fair quantities in Europe and the UK so they are plenty around.

You can check these folks in the UK.

Reiner in Germany may also have what you need GTreiner1@AOL.com

Thank you for this! I have tried all the vintage clubs in my area, and more, but I have yet to search overseas. Going to get this little girl going after all!
