After more than forty years in the shipping business I grabbed an opportunity for early retirement, as my health was seriously affected by the stresses of day-to-day business. I moved away from the city & port that has been my reluctant home for more than fifty years to find an idyllic house in a peaceful little village in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Loads of work to do here, and I'm enjoying getting to grips with the house & garden, walking in the countryside & getting to know the local trade folks.
The T500M is perfect for daily pottering around the Dales, and the Multistrada is still put to good use for long-distance high-speed two-up trips.
Been nibbling at Ebay for a little while, and just picked up a rather ratty GT380 with a Dunstall Cafe kit, and looking for inspiration. l did a proper back-to-standard job on the 500, but want to do either a modern cafe or 60s-style race replica on the 380. I don't really feel the lines of the Dunstall kits ever looked right on the little bikes, so I'll be retiring that. If anyone is looking for a kit, I might be interested in talking
