I have a '74 T500 (ser# 71170), with grooved pistons and 2mm keystone rings (standard bore) (I'm assuming they are original as the bike has 13,000 miles showing)

Parts book says part #12140-15011.....online fiche says that is superceeded to 12140-15013.

Is the superceeded # the same part design or not?

TIA

Bump!
I have found the following part #s and notes for the standard bore size T500 rings from various fiche, lists and parts book:

12140-15011....NLA (2mm)
12140-15012....NLA (1.5mm)
12140-15013....NLA (superceeds 12140-15011)
12140-30010....available (replaces 12140-31010) (from 12140-15012) (same as GT750 (from 12149-31719))
12140-31010....????

Looking to replace the std size 2mm keystone set on my OEM pistons.

Anyone know which of these will work?

I've read that the rings were changed to (or from) "keystone" shape at some point, but don't know which of these part #'s is which.

Well, it only took 2 years to find the correct rings, so here they are:
12140-15011

Quota has been maxed for over a year. To post pics or attachments, you need to use a third party host like Photo Bucket. It's free and relatively easy to use.
Here is an example. The pic is not on this forum. Only a link to the photo is in the post. It has been uploaded to Photo Bucket and they supply the link.
