Suzuki 2 Strokes

Hello,

Does onyone have an original Suz parts manual for the 1969 T350 I (first year made).

I don't think Suzuki Specification 11 for that years make sense or may have error.

I have 3 carbs (68 T305 and 69 T350 mix) which look original that all have

5DP2 Jet Needle, Q-0 Needle Jet, 30 Pilot, 170 Hex main (~120 round)

Old Suz Spec #11 says for 1969 should be 5DP2, P-6, 35 pilot 112.5 (round main I assume)

Online (i.e. Dillon power Sports has Q-0 for Needle Jet on T350 I)

All say for T350 II, R, J 5DL13, p-6, 35 pilot, 112.5 round main

If you run Q-0 instead of P-6 I can see why 30 pilot versus 35.
Olse the DP6 is a bit leaner as you get down to the end of it ecept the very end which I don't think it get used.
so why a bigger main with that needle.

My question is does any one have the original spec for the 1969 T350 carb I in an orignial service manual for example and what does it say? I see them on ebay, but hoping I could save $30.00 bucks if someone knows what the 69 T350 Ihad intially.

Have an original T250/T350 service manual. It has only pics for the 1969 models. Also has no info about year-to-year variations.

So I was correcting in questing Suzuki Specification #11 for 1969 T350. (one or the other is wrong, but if you compare actual dimensions of All jets and needles I would say Spec #11 is wrong for 1969 T350 only.

Also, I have 1972 T350 carbs on a bike that came with 5DL13, P-6, 35 pilot, 112.5 round mains but not 100% sure anymore for a couple of years ago, but recall it was different.

IMO either combination works, but you should not mix and match. Also, IMO the later is better state of tune for the T350 (70-72) and why they stayed with it (I know there may be other differences too, but so far none seen with Cylinder and intake path). Trivia, the T350 (69) is the same spec as the 68 T305 it borrowed from... .

Neither Jet Needle 5DP2 or 5DL13 is still being produced. Here are the dimension I found on web

See at "50" and "60" the 5DP2 is fatter and why I think they run a bigger main and where it matters in throttle position.

The Q-0 is a 159 series and why #170 seams large for it is a Hex type(other post I have seen in the past did not realize this), not round which would be about a ~#120 round. The P-6 must be the 188 (?) series which is not available. But you can still get the 159 screw in the round #112.5 or of a purest cross the #112.5 to its Hex equivalent (~145) for 159 series is for Hex main.

Here is the P-6 versus Q-0 orifice size and why the Q-0 uses smaller pilot IMO since it is larger
P-6 = 2.680 mm
Q-0 = 2.700 mm

If you buy Keyster #KS-0020 (which still some out there as of this writing) it mixes years up. The Keyster needle 5DP2 (their #Y31). Note from my measure the Y21 is very close to 5DP2!

5DP2 is to be used with Q-0, but I think most T350 may be P-6. Also they give the #113 round main which is for the P-6 with 5DL13 needle, Not Q-0 with 5DP2.
This is why at times Keyster kits lack confidence from users at times. I think their parts may be just fine, but don't keep up well with MFG changes on a given model?
