Got a free B100p
So i got a free B100P trough a trade. It looks like it is missing some electrical parts but mostly there.
Missing the choke cable and the part that screws on the carb.
When I took the left side cover off it looks like it's missing the ignition switch, and silicon rectifier, and battery.
What else should be in there?

Welcome to the forum. Its a great resource for your toughest questions.
Alpha Sports online parts manuals go back to 1965 & include the B100.

Re: Got a free B100p
Does anyone know what other ignition switches will work in a B100P? Does anyone have picture of one?
Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-A100-AS1 ... 66&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Got a free B100p
Very helpful thank you
I also got this part to the choke today. http://www.ebay.com/itm/160576471574?it ... 60&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What other parts are part of the choke?

Can you take a pic from the back of the switch?Bloop wrote:Not sure what other models had the same switch, maybe a K10,K11 or K15. Part number is 37110-07010, they show up on Ebay occasionally, the A100 switch would not fit or work. Here is a picture of one and sorry it's not for sale, need it for my other B100.

Re: Got a free B100p
This switch should work, the length of the key spigot may be a tad longer than the original type and its a little smaller in diameter where it passes through the hole in the side cover compared to the stock ones.
A piece of sleeving of the correct thickness slid onto the key barrel would take up the space between it and the side cover hole.
Scroll down the listing to look at the photos for comparison.
The colours are correct so the electrical hookup will be straightforward.

Re: Got a free B100p
Since its not an easy part to find given the age of the bike, you can make a choke cable by using a generic bicycle brake cable. You will need to cut the cable casing and its inner to correct lengths by trial fitting it and then solder on a barrel on one end to fit into the choke plunger.
The cables usually have casted fittings on each end, ones a barrel and the other is a stepped barrel. The barrel end you will use in the choke lever on the handlebars so you only need to clip off the steeped barrel and solder on a little sleeve at the other.
You can also find those little brass sleeves at hobby stores so take the cable along to get the right sized sleeve.

Re: Got a free B100p
Bloop thats a great offer on your part to offer the seat up.
Regarding the cable if its the smaller diameter type of casing a gear cable from a bicycle will work as well since they have that fitting on both ends.
So you still need to replace one end since you will have to cut the outer casing and the inner wire to length.
