69 T500 MKII wiring/harness

Post by Suzsmokeyallan »

Its kind of interesting that the 69 T500 would have grey cased control cables yet the harness wiring is all black.
The wires fed into the handlebar for the switches are also sheathed in black as is the main harness as well, and no its all original and hasnt been rewrapped.
This kind of makes you wonder why they didnt sheath the wiring in grey to match the cables.
However all the rear brake cables are black cased, apparently it was never made in a grey casing.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

That's funny, I wondered the same thing about my 72 T250.... it couldn't have been a mistake, perhaps the manufacturer of the cable was different?
