I'm trying to get one of my T20's (X6 Hustler) running. I pulled the carbs yesterday and they were really varnished up, but they cleaned up really well. One of the floats has a really small dent in both bulbs of the float. Is this likely to cause a problem?

No Wayne it will still float the same way but look funny. Ive had good success removing float dents on the sides by placing some contact cement on the spot with a matchstick, pull on the stick or sticks when it cures and usually the dent comes out.
Then drop the float into some thinners and the cement comes of quite easily.
For bigger AND uglier dents in the sides, drill a tiny hole in the seam and blow compressed air into the hole to push the dents back out, then resolder the hole.

Be very careful soldering on those floats. It's easy to get them too hot, and have the float fall off of the mount!! It's a pain to resolder them.

These are really minor dents, so the match stick trick may work. Thanks for the advice. I'll let eveyone know how it worked out.

That glue and matchstick idea is pretty cool, I'll have to remember that...
