T500R piston rings
Putting new rings in my T500. Looks like I can reuse the old pistons. The old rings are appox. 2mm wide. They also look like each ring is made of 2 pieces sandwiched together. My shop manual doesn't give the specs on ring end gap. Also, what is the Suzuki part # for std. size rings. My understanding is that there are 2 different types of rings[thicker and thinner] that were used. Thanks in advance. Also, my pistons are the type with several grooves below the ring lands.

Re: T500R piston rings
These are the correct rings keystones ring, gap 0.008-0.40 in. if the pistons are within tolerance I would use first oversize rings and gap them down in the cylinder this will give you a better compression and fit in the worn cylinders
