It looks like a 65-66Image'(?) K11 to me, but I don't have the discerning eye that many of you do... what do you folks think?

The tank badge area threw me a bit as well, but I'm trusting the seller when he says it's a zook. Then again, he also seems to think it's a hustler, so perhaps there's a cylinder missing on the left side ;) I'll find out more today.

Looks most like the K11 as shown here:
http://www.suzukicycles.org/1960-1969/1966a.shtml

Frame looks like a K11 & not a Hustler, which had a tubular frame.

kawasaki 125 B1L

I bet you're spot on with that. The pipe looked too low to be a K11, and the badge certainly looks to be a kwak badge. Amazing how folks can end up with peculiar bikes and know absolutely nothing about them. I imagine it belonged to the owners grandad who has since passed on. I'll probably pick it up and stuff it away in the shed. Amazing how many bikes there were in the 60s that shared the same basic look. thanks folks

Somethings amiss, the Kwak 125 is a disc valve engine yet that maroon bike has a piston port engine in it. I wish the photo was clearer so I could see more details.

Good catch Allan ! How about ai BN 125 ? take a look at this link. http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/2050751/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The tank has the wrong emblems and the tail light looks wrong, but perhaps the one at the top of this thread is an earlier model - engine and the rest look similar.

Hmm thats still not quite right either, that tank in the link you posted Ian is not the same style on the side panels / knee pads as those on the maroon bike.
Now its really getting to be a wider search pattern.

Good catch Allan. I looked at again and it's like an early B8. Some were rotary and some were piston ported. It's def. a Kawasaki, the question is which model and which year and size.

Once it's safe in someone's shed it should be able to see a frame and model #.

well, he finally got around to sending me some more pictures, and they are all tiny... however, I got the VIN and it's a Kawasaki F1.

I should be picking this one up this weekend. I'll post some better pictures if I do. thanks!

F1 ??? Now that's a first. Didn't even know such a thing existed.
Must be the successor to the B8....which is what I thought it was when I first saw the pic.
IMO, that's a VERY rare bird. I'd be all over it like white on rice if I lived nearby.
If you buy it, I'd sure like to see a LOT more pics.
