GT750 PAINT

by chance johns
i am looking to get my 72 gt750 back to stock.
i bought it painted black. i want to get my paint set back to its original california burgandy color.
who is a good person for this job? how much should i expect to pay for this type of service.
i've never had alot of money to pay for this kind of stuff, but recently fell into some extra cash and i would love to see this gt750 cruise in style the way she used to.
tank, fork ears, radiator covers, headlight bucket and sidecovers.is the white on the original tank paint or decals?
also looking for an original seat(with diamond stitch cover) or foam and pan.
i currently have a very misguided king and queen seat on it.

thanks for any help!

also, i have a few extra gt750 parts, an unidentified 72 seat(with diamond stitch) which is rigid(no latch) maybe a gt380? and a complete-ish running 72gt550 with title im not dying to hold onto if anybody is in need of something.

ken at K'n K offers a full repaint of your tins for $500. That's for tank and two side covers. Can't add a lot for the tank flap and headlamp ears

I have seen Paul Miller sets on ebay for sale and he probably would do yours for a price. I have no personal experience with either vendor for paint, so I cannot comment on quality or turnaround time.

A friend who is a painter will spray a tank a two fenders for 200 bucks on any bike I find. I would but a decal set & find someone local that could get to it inbetween jobs.
