hi all the front brake lever is driving me potty! it rattles about in the master cylinder and the only way i can shut it up is by keeping a finger on it - ive tried shimming it but to no avail someone on here must have a dodge for fixing it as it seems to be a common problem on these old bikes.

Remove the lever and drill/bore it oversize and press in a sleeve that's a better match to the pivot bolt.

took the lever off and there is no bush in it at all! dug out a spare and guess what - not one in that either so just ordered a genuine Suzuki item Ill give that a try if that doesnt cure it ill try tz375 s option Ive got a piece of brass that can be turned down to fit watch this space.

You might also try a light spring on the shaft the handle pushes on, will provide a constant, light tension on the handle.
