How the heck do I get the chain off this bike?

How the heck do I get the chain off this bike?

My rear tire keeps going flat. I need to pull the rear tire off. I was told to just remove the pinch bolts, loosen the axle, disconnect the brake thingys, disconnect the torque bar, remove the chain and then hopefully pull the rear tire off the rear by sliding it out without removing the exhausts.

but I can't figure out how to get the chain off. I rotated the chain over and over looking for a master link but could no fine one.

Suggestions?

It sounds like you have an endless chain so you need to slide the wheel forwards and then move it over the sprocket and lay it on the swingarms left spar to get it out of the way. If you want it off, either break it open at a spot and get a new replacement link or remove the swingarm from the frame.

What size chain is used on the GT550 in case I decide to go buy a chain breaker and just break it and replace with a master link?

Its the #530 size, if you are getting a new one buy either an o-ring or x-ring type of at least 8000 psi tensile strength.
RK, EK and DID are a few quality brands to consider and run about $100.00

Well I didn't need to take the chain off. I just removed the pinch bolts, loosened up the chain adjusters all the way, took the bottoms off the shocks, loosened up the axle and then was able to lay the chain on the exhaust and wiggle the wheel assembly out. Tire is at the shop being looked at as we speak.
