I am trying to unfreeze my stuck GT550 since it sat for over 30 years.
I took off the alternator side over and was going to look for a big ole nut that I could put a breaker bar on to try to gently and slowly unfreeze my engine. The bolt there seems very small and I am not going to ris k it.
Is the bolt on the breaker side of the engine any better or is there a better way to try to crank the engine over besides the kick starter?
Is there a big ole crankshaft nut that I can crank on? g550

If to take the points side (clutch cover) off, There is a large nut on the end of the crankshaft. You might want to pull the clutch as well so you're not trying to turn the primary gear as well. Another method is to put the bike on the center stand, get it gear and bump the rear wheel.

I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.
