bits back from the rechromer $900 NZ.inner tubes faulty so looking for others.Got a quote from franks forks $360 US inc.shipping.rechroming is still cheaper than nos.

hubs done, new spokes and rims.cheaper to buy rims than rechrome.

trueing the wheel on 2 buckets with a socket handle as an axle.took about 2 hours from the first spoke.the spin is no more than 1mm out of true.

most parts in.polishing done.new cables,new wireing,new carb boot.been waiting on a points cover from Paul Miller since Jan.given up and got one elsewhere.motobatt battery.I could tell you how I got the engine cover that shinny but the purists would turn in there graves.it too about an hour each to do.there is one phillips screw head you can see.Im having a buttonhead screw made 80mm.they only go to 65mm.cost nil.

replaced nuts and washers. button screws in the engine covers,still waiting on the painted parts.

all these parts ready to go.new sprocket.polished hubs.t v gone.brought 26" flatscreen and wall mounted it.more bench space.

hopefully it wont be to far away from finishing.I have to price rechroming for the mufflers,get new baffles and fork tubes and put it together.if anybody has any helpful suggestions Im listening.
