GT500 master cylinder

Does the master cylinder have two holes in the bottom? I only noticed one in the middle when I put in a kit. But as I was bleeding the system I saw small bubbles coming from a little forward of it. Yet I could not see an obvious hole there. I could not remove the reservoir with out breaking it, so I left in it alone, it was not leaking anyway. The kit was slightly different design than original, instead of a brass disk against the plunger, it has a 'flower' shaped metal piece attached to it. Also the shaft that the brake handle pushes against was a larger diameter than original, I had to reduce that so it would pass through the circlip. The kits's circlip was too large diameter to use. I have to assume this kit is an upgraded part to account for the differences, as there is no manufacturer identification on it. Asco or Nissin? I do have a Tokiko caliper. Now I have to pull the lever in about half in to get any braking action. I put a kit in the caliper, lubricated the slide bolts, and put in new pads. Any thoughts? I have had less problems with doing a full brake job on my cars, this should have been a snap in comparison.
