Re: Replica "s" mirrors?
Yep - it was just a matter of time. These have been available on and off in the UK since early last year, and I seem to recall an earlier thread on the board about it. Possibly someone who has bought a set can jump in with additional comments

Re: Replica "s" mirrors?
Hmmmm.....I would REALLY like a closeup of that S mark and its
surrounding area. It seems from the feebay pic that the parent material is depressed/dished somewhat from the stamping process.
I'm not too sure about accuracy of the logo stamping itself, either. For that price it better be absolutely spot-on, IMO. The logo does NOT appear to be the same as the mirrors I have in my stash.
I hope someone on this board can supply more/better pics of the feebay items.

Re: Replica "s" mirrors?
The attachment point is closer to the center of the lens, which may make the mirror less useful. Would depend on how long the stem is. Also, I think you might be right that the "S" doesn't look as good. For comparison look at:

NOS right "s" mirrors seem to show up more often on eBay. I bought a NOS set last year for about $100US and more recently have seen them for about $200US. $40 for a NOS right "s" mirror seems reasonable, just be prepared to pay more for the left mirror when its listed.

Re: Replica "s" mirrors?
just be aware that this ebay mirror is located in Thailand. I've bought from Thailand before, and have never had any trouble yet, but shipping time is pretty slow. Last item from there took about 6 weeks to arrive. I have seen someone in the UK selling 10 mm NOS "S" mirror sets recently on ebay UK. They seem to bring about $85 US on average, and with the overseas shipping, brings it to probably about $110 or so. I need a pair too, but haven't been able to bring myself to pay $100 for a couple mirrors, just yet.

Re: Replica "s" mirrors?
I've bought a lot of stuff for many of my bikes from Thailand and they haven't failed me yet. I would not hesitate to buy more.
