Bristol Classic Bike Show - Suzuki contribution

Post by Zunspec4 »

Hi all,

I was asked by the shop who I use for a bunch of restoration services if I would like to bring my Suzuki's to put on their stand. As the enticement included free weekend passes who was I (cheapskate me) to refuse. The venue is only 20 miles so no problem.

Should be an interesting experience, never put a bike in a show before, I'm all excited :D .

Evening Pedro,

As the base bike is a 1975 T500M but painted in 1971 T500R colours, and probably not even T500M perfect I'll enjoy the banter with the "experts" :D . The first of your two categories I'll enjoy, when I'm not seeking parts for the Triumph :D .

The 500 is a peach, and is that a lovely little TS185? You don't see many 2-stroke trailies around these days.

Both of those are a credit to you, and I bet they will draw the nice guys, boring old buggers and bloody experts like flies
1976 GT380 - wounded by me, and sold on
2006 SV650S - killed by a patch of diesel and a kerb in Feb 2019
2017 SV650 AL7 - naked and unashamed

Hello craig,

The T500 and TS125 have previously appeared in the Restoration section. For convenience here are links to their flickr.com photo sets:

Well,

I had a great weekend, didn't win any awards and was beaten to Best 2-Stroke by this little demon
