OK, I have been having an idle problem since I have had this bike. Most of the time it will idle at about 1200 then slowly slow down. Most of the time it responds quickly when slightly 'blipped', some times sluggish. I have adjusted the idle screws a little in, then a little out from the base setting. So my question is, would going up a half size on the pilot jets help? I am in central Louisiana, so it is not that high above sea level, it does seem to do a little better in very warm weather too.

Hmmmm.....sea level is denser air and so it would run leanish with stock jetting....but warmer air is less dense so it would run richish....which, as you posted, helps things out.
Sooooo.......yes, go up on the pilots and see what happens. You can't go wrong going richer rather than leaner. No ventilated piston syndrome, you see.
