Well, Barry, you for sure would have the only one on your block.....or maybe even in the whole state.

Durable motors, if a little low on power....but that's probably why they're durable. One thing to keep in mind with those engines.....they use a special diameter of valve shim available ONLY from Kawasaki.
I also understand that getting the balance shaft(s??) phased correctly can be a "fun" job.....but I've never attempted it myself, so maybe that's just another Internet myth....

I don't know anything about them but I like a twin cylinder cafe and I remembered Kawasaki making a 750, may be better than a 650 Yamaha, if you could find one.

i have rode a few of those 750 twins, and they are dogs. just my 2 cents. 650 yamaha twin will stomp them.
