My helmet is certainly tipped to anyone who can do a ride of that distance on ANYTHING, never mind a vibrator like the Titan. Good on you, Dofin. 8) :D

My GT500 seems to run pretty smooth at 50mph, I have not had a real chance to go faster, further yet since I have had it. When I get a warm spell I will take it on a short (100 mile) to see how it does at a constant (high?) speed and check the fuel mileage.

I guess it is what your use to but I never had a big problem with the GTs viberation. Its real smooth at 55 more viberation at 65 but gets noticably smoother at 75-80 BUT sucks gas at 40 mpg. I cruise 70-75. I am very comfortable on LONG rides 700+ miles per day. They are old bikes, it keeps up okay with the new bikes but I never try to push to hard, well I mostly try, cant help it when they are wound up chomping at the bit!

I had Bill Bund do the bore job and asked his guy to keep the clearance thght with the pistons I sent. They did just that and they were thight!!!! It took a LONG time for the pistons to loosen up and got really lousy milage (35 mpg) till they FINALLY loosened up but NO piston slap and now at 55-65 it is finally getting better milage 50 + mpg (in the seventys it was closer to 60mpg).
