petcock

I need a new petcock for my 76 gt500 any suggestions?

Measure the bolt pattern spacing. I have a tested good petcock that fits a GS1000. One vacuum line and one outlet.
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left.

Check your local Suzuki shop. I bought one at mine this past year, cheaper than what could be had on e-bay. Only difference from original is that it is dark colored, original is plain aluminum.

Yes, it's strange that Suzuki still offers those later petcocks....and sells lots of 'em, too. The KZ boys buy them in droves because their petcocks up until the 1978 models are horrible and there's no spares available.
Fortunately for them the spacing of mounting bolts of the Suzi replacement is also the same as the Kwakker bolt spacing. :up:
