GT 550 chambers

Post by djfisher22 »

I found a GT550 with expansion chambers at an estate sale. Bike is rough with maybe a few things salvageable. Are the chambers worth the trouble of me buying($200),transporting dismantling and scrapping this thing? In other words should I call the guy back so I can I make a few bucks on it or should I let it sit?Any opinions?

Could be. Some of the items are interchangable with the buffalo like the finders, signals, etc.. so the parts could make you a few buck if they're still on the bike.

I reckon the chambers are definitely worth it, chambers for ANY of the Suzi triples tend to sell for at least $250 - $300 on ebay in the UK, even in rough condition.

Definately worth it. GT550 chambers are only available this way anymore, so if someone needs them, you sill make the money back..

Jemco still makes new chambers for the 550. But they are $700.00
