GT380 petcock vs T200

have a few questions

i redid a T200 that ended up while the best intown bike just wasn't big enough to go over 60 without crying for help with me on it. i just bought a GT380 for $150 that was last licensed in '86. it was inside, turns over, seems to have compression, shifts thru the gears and is the biggest rust pile i have ever bought. ok, maybe the second.

chain guard is solid rust. the headlight mounting brackets are solid rust, the shocks, and i would have to characterize the motor as anything but clean or polished. but seems complete.

first, anyone wanna buy this? i am in So IL south east of STL. you have to pick it up. i would take the same $150 i paid. oh, no title, but i had keys made already.

i don't really know what i am going to do with it. but need to know is the '72 GT380 petcock still vacumm operated like a '67 T200? T200 petcock was ON, Reserve, Prime. it didn't even have a normal OFF position.

thinking about putting the motor on a buggy and would hate to have to mess with the old petcock system.

thanks
perry

As far as I know all the 380s had vac petcocks. I always prefer a simple on/off petcock, myself ...
